The Wise County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office is pleased to
announce our first Social Networking and Internet Safety class, which
is open to the public to attend. Parents, teachers, and anyone else
interested in learning more about how to keep children and themselves
safe while using the internet are encouraged to attend. In today’s
technologically sophisticated world, and with internet related crime
on the rise, the Wise County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office
understands the importance of promoting safe internet use and is
providing this class free of charge as a public service.

The class will be held on April 20, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the
UVA Wise Slemp Student Center, 5th Floor Dogwood Room. There is no
cost for this event, but registration is limited to 200 people.
